BHAGWAT GITA - CHAPTER - 4 / VERSE - 8



       During the start of war between Pandavas and Kauravas , Arjun , a kshatriya warrior, was unwilling to fight  as the opponents were his own brothers (cousins) . So he seeked Lord Krishna's council .Hence the teaching that Lord Krishna gave are written in the hindu religious book 'Bhagvat Gita' . The teaching are beyond the war , it covers various  vast topics of life and beyond it. 
THE VERSE [ CHAPTER 4 / VERSE - 8]
 परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय संभवामि युगे युगे।।4.8।।
[Praritraanaya Saadhunam Vinashaya Cha Dushkritaam
Dharama-sansthaapanarthya Sambhavami Yuge-Yuge.]

MEANING
Parithraanaya = For the salvation
Saadhunaam = of the righteous
Vinaashaya = destruction
Cha = and
Dhushkritaam = of the wrong-doers
Dharma-sansthaapanarthaaya = to establish dharma (righteousness)
Sambhavami = occur myself (manifest myself)
Yuge yuge = millennium after millennium. 

भावार्थ : साधु पुरुषों का उद्धार करने के लिए,
 पाप कर्म करने वालों का विनाश करने के लिए
 और धर्म की अच्छी तरह से स्थापना करने के लिए,
 मैं युग-युग में प्रकट हुआ करता हूँ॥8॥
